ERGOver 50 new organizations added, hard copy replaced by downloadable version

The Summit’s Creative Entrepreneurship track will explore the critical elements of a successful entrepreneurial venture including infrastructure, policies, physical space, funding, and other resources most needed by the creative entrepreneur to thrive in abundant or challenging economic times.

Following the track theme, Innovation Philadelphia released its third edition of the Entrepreneur’s Resource Guide, the Greater Philadelphia region’s most comprehensive guide, providing start-ups, entrepreneurs, and businesses with a comprehensive list of regional organizations that offer business and professional development services and networking, funding and marketing support.  Over 50 organizations were added to the third edition of the Greater Philadelphia Entrepreneurs’ Resource Guide, bringing the guide’s total listing to nearly 350 regional resources assisting businesses starting and growing in the Philadelphia region. This easy-to-use Guide can be searched alphabetically by organization or it can be searched based on the following types of assistance: business, technical, creative industry, minority business, international business, economic development or investment capital.

“As larger businesses downsize their staff and more and more people find themselves on their own with the opportunity to start their own businesses, there is a greater need for accessible resources, like the Entrepreneurs’ Resource Guide,” says Kelly Lee, President & CEO, Innovation Philadelphia.  “Over the years, the Guide has provided invaluable information to the entrepreneurial community in the region. The release of the third edition is just another indication of the growing, thriving support system that the Greater Philadelphia Region has to offer both new and established entrepreneurs,” Lee states.

The Guide includes resources that help all types of businesses in all industries. This Guide is unique in that it also provides resources to support creative entrepreneurs and creative businesses, a targeted industry of Innovation Philadelphia. The Greater Philadelphia Entrepreneurs’ Resource Guide is available as an online database or for $25 the Guide can be downloaded through the website at www.innovationphiladelphia.com.
